HOW THE RELATIONSHIP WORKS

From What You Have to a Recommended Next Step

Service Lamp adds lighting application support behind your team. Your company remains the customer-facing distributor.

01

Send what you have.

A photo, label, part number, fixture schedule, product list, or short description is enough to begin.

02

We review the application.

Service Lamp reviews what you sent, then calls or emails if we need another photo, measurement, deadline, or application detail.

03

You choose how we engage.

You lead the customer. If a deeper conversation would help, we can join by phone or video—with or without you—only when you give permission.

04

We support follow-through.

Product warranties come from the manufacturer. Service Lamp coordinates covered returns and manufacturer communication for products we supply.

Have a live customer need?

CONFIDENCE & OPERATIONAL ANSWERS

Help Your Customer Choose With More Confidence.

Give your customer a clearer recommendation, accountable support, and a known path after the sale—all while keeping the relationship and final pricing in your hands.

Application before assumption

We help identify products, evaluate replacement options, and flag application or code questions for appropriate review.

Documentation that supports the decision

Recommendations can include applicable product information, assumptions, and the details that still require installer or manufacturer verification.

Compare more than online pricing

An online listing may cost less but still be wrong for the application. We help compare product fit, specifications, manufacturer warranty, and support after the sale.

We coordinate warranty and returns

The manufacturer provides the product warranty. For products we supply, Service Lamp coordinates covered returns and communication with the manufacturer.

FAQs

Pricing, customer contact, response time, training, warranty, and project support.

Do we need lighting expertise to work with Service Lamp?

No. Send what you have. We help identify products, evaluate options, and explain what information or verification is still needed.

Who owns the customer relationship?

Your company leads the customer relationship, quote, and invoice. Service Lamp will contact or meet with your customer only with your permission, and you decide whether to participate.

How fast will we hear back?

Service Lamp will respond within two business days. For an urgent customer need, call Frank Austin directly at (502) 777-6636.

What does training cost?

Lighting sales training for NetPlus distributors is always free. Sessions can be one-on-one or built for your team.

Does Service Lamp determine our margin or customer pricing?

We can suggest a selling range based on our market knowledge, but your company always makes the final decision on margin and customer price.

What if an online store shows a lower price?

The online price may be lower, but the item may not be the right product for the application and support after the sale can be unclear. We help compare product fit, specifications, manufacturer warranty, and return support—not just the purchase price.

Who handles warranty and returns?

The product manufacturer provides the warranty. For products we supply, Service Lamp coordinates covered returns and communication with the manufacturer. Product-specific warranty and return terms will be confirmed with the recommendation or quote.

Can you help with discontinued products or larger projects?

Yes. We can help evaluate replacement options for obsolete products and review retrofit or project requirements. Final recommendations remain subject to the application, fixture, manufacturer instructions, and installer verification.

Do NetPlus distributors receive special pricing?

Yes. NetPlus distributors receive exclusive discounted pricing through the program. Your company then sets its own final customer price and margin.
